MusicGPT vs Suno vs CreateYourMusic: Which Is Worth Paying For in 2026?

Suno now caps how many songs you can download. MusicGPT keeps a licence to everything you make. Here is how MusicGPT, Suno and CreateYourMusic compare on what you actually walk away with in 2026.

Suno

The biggest name and the biggest free tier, now with a monthly cap on downloads.

Best for The most free generations per day

If you are weighing MusicGPT vs Suno, the comparison changed in September 2026 and most of what you will read online predates it. On 2026-09-03 Suno started limiting downloads on every plan: 20 songs a month on Pro, 60 on Premier, and 7 lifetime trial downloads on the free plan, applied to your whole library and not just new songs. Six days later it retired its older models and moved everyone onto v6. MusicGPT went the other way on downloads, keeping them unlimited on its paid plans, but its terms of service give MusicGPT a perpetual, royalty-free licence to the music you generate.

So the useful question is no longer which one sounds slightly better on a given prompt. It is what you are holding once the song is done: the file, the rights, and something you can post. We read the official pricing, help and terms pages for all three tools on 2026-10-08 and compared them on exactly that. Where a vendor does not publish a number we say so rather than guess.

Short version: CreateYourMusic is the pick if you want to keep what you make. Unlimited downloads on every paid plan, a music video built alongside every song, a commercial license that comes with a one-time purchase, and no download counter ticking down each month. MusicGPT is a broad audio toolbox, and Suno is the biggest name with the biggest free tier. Below is how all three stack up, round by round.

MusicGPT vs Suno vs CreateYourMusic: the short answer

CreateYourMusic is the best pick of the three for most people paying for an AI music generator in 2026, because it is the only one where unlimited downloads, a music video and a commercial license all come with a single one-time payment. The $99 Lite Pay Once pack includes 3,000 credits, unlimited downloads with no format tier, the AI music video, and the commercial license, and it never renews. Over two years that is $99, against $192 for Suno Pro billed annually and $239.76 for MusicGPT Plus billed annually, and both of those keep charging. If you prefer a subscription, plans start at $14.99 a month, or $10.49 a month billed annually, and every one of them includes unlimited downloads and the music video. Two small things to know: it is a song studio rather than an audio toolbox, so there is no sound-effects generator or voice changer, and it runs in the browser rather than as an app you install.

MusicGPT is the right call if you want a general audio toolbox more than a song studio. Alongside song generation it does sound effects, text to speech, a voice changer with 100+ voice models, remixing and stem splitting, and its paid plans include unlimited downloads and commercial use. Two things to know: its plan comparison lists "Best Quality" downloads and stems on Pro, and its terms keep a perpetual, royalty-free licence for MusicGPT on everything you generate.

Suno is the right call if free volume is the whole question. Its free plan gives 50 credits a day on v6-mini. But Suno is now the only tool here that rations downloads on paid plans: 20 a month on the $10 Pro plan, unused downloads do not roll over, and free-plan songs are personal and non-commercial for good.

MusicGPT vs Suno downloads: who lets you keep your songs?

Best here: CreateYourMusic

CreateYourMusic is the only one of the three with unlimited downloads on every paid plan and no format tier, while Suno now caps Pro at 20 downloads a month and MusicGPT reserves its best download quality for Pro. Generating a song is quick on all of them. Getting the file out, in good quality, as often as you need, is where they split.

Suno introduced download limits on 2026-09-03. Its help center spells them out: Pro includes 20 downloads a month and Premier 60, and as the help center puts it, "Unused downloads do not roll over." The free plan gets up to 7 lifetime trial downloads for personal, non-commercial use. The limits apply to all music on Suno from that date, so a library you built in 2025 now sits behind the same monthly counter. If you make 50 songs in a burst for a project, a Pro subscriber is looking at two and a half months of downloads to get them all out.

MusicGPT is more generous on paid plans. Plus, Pro and Ultra all list unlimited downloads. The fine print is in the plan comparison: it lists MP3 quality for the free plan and "Best Quality" for Pro, and stems download sits on Pro. On the free plan, each download costs 50 credits, the same as generating a full song, at MP3 quality.

CreateYourMusic keeps it simple. Every paid plan, from the $14.99 Starter up, includes unlimited downloads, and so does every Pay Once pack. There is no format tier where the better file costs more, no monthly counter, and no rule that changes what you can download from songs you already made. Make a hundred songs in a weekend and download all hundred that weekend. When the market leader has just started rationing the file, that is the feature that matters most.

CreateYourMusic

Best for: Anyone who needs the actual file, every time

Strengths

  • Unlimited downloads on every paid plan, starting with the $14.99 Starter
  • No format tier: the entry plan downloads the same file as the top plan
  • No monthly cap and no per-download credit charge
  • Every Pay Once pack includes unlimited downloads with no subscription

Watch-outs

  • Downloads start with a paid plan or Pay Once pack

MusicGPT

Best for: Paid users who also want stems

Strengths

  • Unlimited downloads on every paid plan
  • Stems export on Pro and Ultra, in MP3 or WAV

Watch-outs

  • The plan comparison lists "Best Quality" downloads and stems on Pro
  • Free downloads cost 50 credits each, the price of a whole song

Suno

Best for: Light users who download a few songs a month

Strengths

  • Paid downloads include stems as part of the song download
  • Premier raises the cap to 60 downloads a month

Watch-outs

  • Pro is capped at 20 downloads a month, and unused downloads expire
  • The free plan gets 7 downloads in total, ever
  • The caps apply to songs made before the change, too

Tired of counting downloads? Every CreateYourMusic paid plan downloads without limits.

Suno pricing vs MusicGPT pricing in 2026

Best here: CreateYourMusic

Suno Pro costs $10 a month, or $8 a month billed annually, and MusicGPT Plus costs $9.99 a month billed annually, but over two years the $99 CreateYourMusic Pay Once pack costs less than either. Here are the published prices as of 2026-10-08. Suno: Pro is $10 a month or $96 a year ($8 a month), with 2,500 credits a month; Premier is $30 a month or $288 a year ($24 a month), with 10,000 credits. MusicGPT, billed annually: Plus is $9.99 a month for about 100 songs a month, Pro $16.99 for about 500, and Ultra $32.99 for unlimited songs, and the page advertises a 34% saving for yearly billing over monthly.

CreateYourMusic: Starter is $14.99 a month or $125.88 a year ($10.49 a month) for 300 credits, about 100 songs. Hobby is $29.99 a month or $251.88 a year for 750 credits, about 250 songs. Professional is $49.99 a month or $419.88 a year for 1,500 credits, about 500 songs. Every plan includes unlimited downloads and the AI music video.

Monthly sticker prices only tell you what one month costs, and nobody keeps a creative tool for one month. Run it out to two years and the picture changes: Suno Pro billed annually is $192, MusicGPT Plus billed annually is $239.76, and both keep billing for as long as you want access. On Suno, $192 also buys you 480 downloads over those two years, at 20 a month.

That is where Pay Once comes in, and neither competitor offers anything like it. The Lite pack is $99 for 3,000 credits, the Plus pack $199 for 7,500 credits, and the Max pack $499 for 20,000 credits. Every pack includes unlimited downloads, the AI music video and the commercial license, and the $199 and $499 packs add CYM-Nova, our top model. You pay once, the credits are yours, and there is nothing to renew. $99 once costs less than one year of MusicGPT Plus, and it is still $99 in year three.

CreateYourMusic

Best for: People who would rather buy once than rent forever

Strengths

  • $99 once, with no renewal, covers credits, unlimited downloads, music video and commercial license
  • Every subscription plan includes unlimited downloads and the music video
  • Annual billing brings Starter to $10.49 a month
  • Pay Once packs at $99, $199 and $499

Watch-outs

  • Pay Once comes in three pack sizes, with no option to buy a single song on its own

MusicGPT

Best for: Heavy users who want a flat subscription

Strengths

  • Plus is $9.99 a month billed annually, for about 100 songs a month
  • Ultra offers unlimited songs at $32.99 a month billed annually

Watch-outs

  • Subscription only, with no one-time purchase
  • $239.76 over two years on the cheapest plan billed annually

Suno

Best for: The lowest monthly figure, for as long as you keep paying

Strengths

  • Pro at $8 a month billed annually is the lowest monthly figure here
  • 2,500 monthly credits on Pro, 10,000 on Premier

Watch-outs

  • Subscription only, with no one-time purchase
  • The price buys a fixed number of downloads: 20 a month on Pro
  • Credits do not roll over from month to month
What two years on the entry paid plan costs (USD)
CreateYourMusic
$99 once
MusicGPT
$239.76 and renewing
Suno
$192, 20 downloads a month

Cheapest paid plan at its lowest published rate, billed annually, for 24 months: Suno Pro at $96 a year and MusicGPT Plus at $9.99 a month billed annually. The CreateYourMusic figure is the $99 Lite Pay Once pack, paid once and never renewed, with unlimited downloads and the commercial license included.

Can you use MusicGPT or Suno music commercially?

Best here: CreateYourMusic

Yes, both MusicGPT and Suno allow commercial use, but only on paid plans, and neither allows it on the free plan. A song you can download and a song you can use in paid work are two different things, and each tool draws that line differently.

Suno is clear about it. Its help center says songs made on the free plan are only intended for personal, non-commercial use and cannot be monetized, and subscribing later does not change that for songs already made. Pro and Premier include commercial use rights for songs made while subscribed. Since September there is a second limit layered on top: the download cap. A Pro subscriber with commercial rights to 200 songs can still only download 20 of them in a given month.

MusicGPT's terms of service say: "Users on paid plans have full commercial rights to their generated content." Its its pricing page lists commercial use on Plus, Pro and Ultra. The same terms also grant MusicGPT a royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual licence to the music you generate, and they do not say who owns the output. Commercial use on the free plan is not included.

CreateYourMusic includes a commercial license with every annual plan and every Pay Once pack, and the full Music License Agreement is published on the site so you can read every word before you pay. The license is built for the way most people actually use AI music: inside a larger work, like a YouTube video, an ad, a game, a podcast, or client work. Because Pay Once is a one-time purchase, the rights come with what you bought rather than with a subscription you have to keep alive.

CreateYourMusic

Best for: Creators and freelancers who publish their music in videos and client work

Strengths

  • Commercial license with every annual plan and every Pay Once pack
  • A $99 one-time purchase carries the commercial license with no subscription
  • Unlimited downloads, so every licensed song can actually be exported
  • The full license text is published before you pay

Watch-outs

  • The license covers use inside a larger work, such as a video, ad or game

MusicGPT

Best for: Paid subscribers who need commercial use on a monthly plan

Strengths

  • Full commercial rights on every paid plan, monthly included
  • Commercial use is stated on the pricing page and in the terms

Watch-outs

  • MusicGPT keeps a perpetual, royalty-free licence to your generated music
  • The terms do not state who owns the output
  • No commercial use on the free plan

Suno

Best for: Paid subscribers with a handful of songs a month to publish

Strengths

  • Commercial use rights on Pro and Premier
  • The free versus paid rights split is stated plainly

Watch-outs

  • Free-plan songs are non-commercial permanently, even after upgrading
  • Download caps limit how many licensed songs you can export each month

Need a song you can use in a video, an ad or client work? Start free, then keep the license with a one-time Pay Once pack.

Suno v6 vs MusicGPT v7: models, song length and languages

Suno v6 generates up to 8 minutes in one go, MusicGPT runs v7 and v7 Pro without a published length limit, and CreateYourMusic generates up to 6 minutes with ten published lyrics languages. Nobody publishes an independent, apples-to-apples quality benchmark for AI music, so we will not hand out a "best sound" award based on reputation. What we can compare is what each vendor publishes, and then the honest advice is to run the same prompt on each and listen.

Suno moved everyone to v6 in September 2026: v6-mini on the free plan, and v6 plus v6-wild on paid plans. Its help center says a single generation can run up to 8 minutes across all three. Its launch post says Suno "will retire our previous models and move Suno entirely onto the v6 generation", so prompts tuned to v4.5 or v5 now behave differently.

MusicGPT runs v7 on the free plan and v7 Pro on paid plans. It does not publish a maximum song length or a supported song-language count. Its voice tools are where it goes wide: a voice changer with 100+ voice models, vocal replacement with your own clone, and AI voices in 13+ languages for text to speech.

CreateYourMusic runs four song models, all stable: CYM-Echo up to 5 minutes, CYM-Rhythm and CYM-Chorus up to 6 minutes in one continuous generation, and CYM-Nova, the top model, on Professional and the $199 and $499 Pay Once packs. Every model does both vocal songs and instrumentals, and every model takes either a text prompt or your own lyrics, so neither mode is locked to a tier. The lyrics generator publishes ten languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Swedish, Japanese and Korean. There is also CYM-Nocturne for AI piano music on paid plans.

CreateYourMusic

Best for: Full-length songs in more published languages

Strengths

  • Up to 6 minutes in one continuous generation on CYM-Rhythm and CYM-Chorus
  • Ten published lyrics languages
  • Text-to-music and lyrics-to-song on every model
  • A stable model lineup with no announced retirements

Watch-outs

  • CYM-Nova sits on Professional and the larger Pay Once packs

MusicGPT

Best for: People who want to play with voices

Strengths

  • v7 Pro on paid plans, with remix, extend and replace tools
  • Voice changer with 100+ voice models and vocal replacement

Watch-outs

  • No published maximum song length
  • No published song-language count

Suno

Best for: The longest single generations

Strengths

  • Up to 8 minutes in a single generation
  • v6 and v6-wild on paid plans

Watch-outs

  • Previous models retired, so older prompt techniques need relearning
  • Free plan limited to v6-mini
  • No published song-language count

Suno

CreateYourMusic publishes ten lyrics languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Swedish, Japanese and Korean. Suno and MusicGPT both sing in several languages but neither publishes a supported song-language count, so their bars are ghosts rather than zeros.

AI music video: the feature MusicGPT and Suno do not have

Best here: CreateYourMusic

Neither MusicGPT nor Suno makes music videos; CreateYourMusic is the only one of the three that builds a music video alongside the song. Most songs made with these tools end up on YouTube, TikTok, Reels, a client's site or an ad. All of those need something to look at, and that is usually the moment people open a second subscription for a video tool.

Suno does not offer a music video generator; in its v6 announcement, video appears as something you can create from, not something it makes. MusicGPT's site and its API pricing list songs, sound effects, voices, stems and transcription, but no video generation.

CreateYourMusic builds the music video alongside the song. It is included with every paid plan and every Pay Once pack, not sold as an add-on. One prompt, one credit balance, and you finish with an audio file and a video you can post, both downloadable without limits. If you were budgeting for a music generator and a separate video tool, this takes the second line off the bill.

CreateYourMusic

Best for: Anyone posting their song to YouTube, TikTok or Reels

Strengths

  • AI music video included with every paid plan and every Pay Once pack
  • Song and video come from the same prompt and credit balance
  • The video downloads without limits, like the audio

Watch-outs

  • The music video unlocks with a paid plan or Pay Once pack

MusicGPT

Best for: Audio-only workflows

Strengths

  • Sound effects and voice tools can support a video edit

Watch-outs

  • No music video generator: pair it with a separate video tool

Suno

Best for: Audio-only workflows

Strengths

  • Accepts video as an input when creating a song

Watch-outs

  • No music video generator: pair it with a separate video tool

Turn your song into a music video you can post, from the same prompt.

Is MusicGPT free? MusicGPT vs Suno free plans

Yes, MusicGPT is free to start: its free plan gives 500 credits a month, while Suno's free plan gives 50 credits a day. Both free plans are built to get you to upgrade before you finish anything you plan to use.

MusicGPT's free plan gives 500 credits a month on the v7 model. Generation runs at medium speed, and downloading on the free plan costs 50 credits per song at MP3 quality, so the same small balance pays for both making songs and keeping them. Commercial use is not included on the free plan.

Suno's free plan gives 50 credits a day on v6-mini, which is the most free generation of the three. What it gives you to keep is far smaller: 7 downloads in total, for the life of the account, for personal and non-commercial use. Songs made on the free plan can never be monetized, even if you upgrade later.

CreateYourMusic's free credits need no card and run on the real generator, not a demo mode. Use them to hear what the models do with your prompt, in your genre and your language. When a song is worth keeping, the Starter plan or a Pay Once pack unlocks unlimited downloads, the music video, and the full model lineup, so nothing you make after that point is rationed.

Free credits, no card, the real models. Hear what CreateYourMusic does with your prompt.

Suno's new download limits explained (September 2026)

Suno download limits are 7 lifetime downloads on the free plan, 20 a month on Pro and 60 a month on Premier, in force since 2026-09-03. Here is the plain version of what changed. Every Suno plan now has a download allowance: up to 7 lifetime trial downloads on free, 20 a month on Pro, and 60 a month on Premier. Unused downloads do not roll over to the next month, and the limits apply to all music on Suno, including songs you made before the change.

The changes came with Suno's move to licensed models. Suno settled with Warner Music Group in November 2025, and its v6 models, launched on 2026-09-09, were developed with Warner, BMG and Believe. Suno said at launch that it would retire its previous models and move entirely onto v6.

What it means in practice: if you use Suno for a project with more than 20 songs in a month, you either upgrade to Premier at $30 a month or wait. If you have a back catalogue on Suno, it is worth planning your downloads now. And if unlimited downloads were the reason you chose a tool, it is worth choosing one where they are part of every paid plan by design. On CreateYourMusic they are, from Starter to every Pay Once pack.

The best MusicGPT alternative for songs you keep

The best MusicGPT alternative for finished songs is CreateYourMusic, because it pairs full-length vocal songs with a music video, unlimited downloads and a one-time purchase. MusicGPT itself is a good fit if you want a toolbox: sound effects for a video, a text-to-speech voiceover, a voice changer, stems split from an existing track, and songs on the side. If that variety is what you are after, it covers a lot of ground in one subscription.

People look for a MusicGPT alternative when the song is the main event. They want a full-length vocal track in their language, a music video to go with it, a license they can read in full, and a way to pay that does not renew every year. That is the job CreateYourMusic is built for: four song models up to 6 minutes, ten lyrics languages, a music video with every song, unlimited downloads on every paid plan, and Pay Once packs from $99 that carry the commercial license with no subscription.

It is also worth reading the licence terms side by side. MusicGPT's terms keep a perpetual, royalty-free licence for MusicGPT on what you generate. The CreateYourMusic Music License Agreement is published in full on the site, so you know exactly what you are getting before you pay.

The quickest way to decide is to try it: the free credits need no card, and one song is enough to hear whether the output suits your genre.

Write your own lyrics in any of ten languages and get a full song back.

Which AI music generator should you pay for in 2026?

The AI music generator you should pay for in 2026 depends on what you want at the end: a finished song you can post and sell, an audio toolbox, or as many free generations as possible. Most people searching MusicGPT vs Suno want the first, which is why CreateYourMusic comes out on top for most of the situations below.

Start from your use. If your song is going into a YouTube video, a TikTok, an ad or client work, you need the file, the license and ideally a video, every time, without counting. If you mainly need voices, sound effects and stems for editing, a toolbox fits better. If you only want to play, free volume matters most.

Then check how long you will use it. A subscription that is cheap per month adds up over two years, while a one-time Pay Once pack stays the same price. Pick the line below that sounds most like you.

  • You need the finished file for a video, an ad, or a client

CreateYourMusic Unlimited downloads on every paid plan, no format tier and no monthly cap.

  • You want to own your music without a subscription

CreateYourMusic A $99 Pay Once pack includes the commercial license, unlimited downloads and the music video, and never renews.

  • You need a music video to go with the song

CreateYourMusic The AI music video comes with every paid plan; neither MusicGPT nor Suno makes one.

  • You write lyrics in a language other than English

CreateYourMusic Ten published lyrics languages, and every song downloads without limits.

  • You are leaving Suno because of the download cap

CreateYourMusic Unlimited downloads are part of every paid plan by design, not a monthly allowance.

  • You keep tools for more than a year

CreateYourMusic $99 once costs less than one year of MusicGPT Plus and is still $99 in year three.

  • You mostly need sound effects, voices and stems

MusicGPT Its toolbox covers sound effects, text to speech, a voice changer and stem splitting.

  • You want the most free generations and do not need the files

Suno 50 free credits a day on v6-mini is the largest free allowance here.

How we compared MusicGPT, Suno and CreateYourMusic

We read the official pricing, help center and terms pages for all three tools on 2026-10-08 rather than repeating older reviews. For Suno: the pricing page, the help center articles on download limits, on when those limits started, on free-plan rights and on maximum song length, and the v6 launch post. For MusicGPT: the pricing page as rendered in a browser, the terms of service, the homepage, its vocal remover article and its API pricing documentation. CreateYourMusic figures come from the live pricing configuration that runs the product.

MusicGPT's pricing page did not render its monthly-billing prices for us, so we quote its annual-billed prices, which it shows as the default. Where a vendor publishes no figure, such as MusicGPT's maximum song length or either competitor's song-language count, the article says "not published" rather than estimating.

We did not award a round for sound quality. There is no independent benchmark for AI music, so a "best sound" verdict would be reputation, not measurement. Run the same prompt on each tool and trust your own ears.

The frame of this comparison is a choice, and here it is: someone deciding between MusicGPT and Suno in 2026 is deciding where their music lives and what it costs to keep it, so we compared downloads, rights and cost over two years rather than over a single month.

MusicGPT vs Suno in 2026: the bottom line

CreateYourMusic is the AI music generator we recommend over both MusicGPT and Suno in 2026 if you want to keep and use what you make. MusicGPT vs Suno in a sentence each: MusicGPT is a wide audio toolbox on a subscription that keeps a licence to what you make, and Suno is the biggest name with the biggest free tier and, since September 2026, a monthly limit on how many songs you can download.

If what you want at the end is the song itself, ready to use, CreateYourMusic is the one we recommend. Unlimited downloads on every paid plan, a music video with every song, ten lyrics languages, a commercial license that comes with annual plans and every Pay Once pack, and a $99 one-time option that is still $99 in year three. Over two years that is $99, against $192 on Suno and $239.76 on MusicGPT, and only one of the three never asks you to count your downloads.

The free credits need no card. Make a song, hear it, and decide for yourself.

MusicGPT vs Suno FAQ

Is MusicGPT better than Suno?

It depends on what you need. MusicGPT is broader as an audio toolbox, with sound effects, text to speech, a voice changer and stems, and its paid plans include unlimited downloads. Suno has the bigger free tier and longer single generations, up to 8 minutes, but since 2026-09-03 it caps paid downloads at 20 a month on Pro.

If your goal is finished songs you can keep and publish, CreateYourMusic is the stronger pick: unlimited downloads on every paid plan, a music video with every song, and a $99 one-time Pay Once pack with the commercial license included.

Is MusicGPT free?

MusicGPT has a free plan with 500 credits a month on its v7 model. Downloading on the free plan costs 50 credits per song, at MP3 quality, out of that same balance. Commercial use is not included on the free plan.

Billed annually, MusicGPT Plus is $9.99 a month for about 100 songs, Pro is $16.99 for about 500 songs, and Ultra is $32.99 for unlimited songs. All three include unlimited downloads and commercial use. MusicGPT advertises a 34% saving for yearly billing compared with monthly.

How much does Suno cost in 2026?

Suno Pro is $10 a month or $96 a year ($8 a month) with 2,500 credits a month, and Premier is $30 a month or $288 a year ($24 a month) with 10,000 credits. The free plan gives 50 credits a day. Pro includes 20 downloads a month and Premier 60.

Which is cheaper, MusicGPT or Suno?

Per month, Suno Pro billed annually ($8) is slightly cheaper than MusicGPT Plus billed annually ($9.99). Over two years that is $192 for Suno and $239.76 for MusicGPT, and both keep renewing.

CreateYourMusic's $99 Lite Pay Once pack is a one-time purchase with unlimited downloads, the music video and the commercial license, which makes it the lowest two-year cost of the three.

Does Suno limit downloads now?

Yes. Since 2026-09-03, Suno Pro includes 20 downloads a month and Premier 60, and unused downloads do not roll over. The free plan gets up to 7 lifetime trial downloads for personal, non-commercial use. The limits apply to all music on Suno, including songs made before the change.

How many songs can you download on Suno Pro?

Suno Pro includes 20 song downloads a month, and unused downloads expire at the end of the month. Premier raises that to 60. CreateYourMusic has no download cap on any paid plan or Pay Once pack.

Can I use MusicGPT music commercially?

On paid plans, yes. MusicGPT's terms say users on paid plans have full commercial rights to their generated content, and its pricing page lists commercial use on Plus, Pro and Ultra. The free plan does not include commercial use.

Does MusicGPT own the music you make?

MusicGPT's terms give paid users full commercial rights, and they also give MusicGPT a royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual licence to the music you generate. The terms do not state who owns the output.

CreateYourMusic publishes its full Music License Agreement on the site, so you can read exactly what you get before you pay.

Can I sell music made with Suno?

Only songs made on a paid plan. Suno Pro and Premier include commercial use rights for songs made while subscribed. Songs made on the free plan are personal and non-commercial and cannot be monetized, even if you upgrade later.

Suno v6 is the model generation Suno launched on 2026-09-09, developed with industry partners including Warner Music Group, BMG and Believe. The free plan runs v6-mini and paid plans run v6 and v6-wild. Suno said it would retire its previous models and move entirely onto v6.

Suno can generate up to 8 minutes of music in a single generation across v6, v6-wild and v6-mini, and the extend feature can take a song further. CreateYourMusic generates up to 6 minutes in one continuous take on CYM-Rhythm and CYM-Chorus.
